Odisha Govt Orders Review of PSU Appointments

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has initiated a comprehensive review of appointments across State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

In a directive issued by Special Secretary Lipsa Das of the Public Enterprises Department, all PSU Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers have been asked to submit updated appointment details.

The review will cover appointments made between June 12, 2024, and April 30, 2026, with PSUs required to provide data in a prescribed format.

This includes the number of appointments made, positions filled, vacancies remaining, sanctioned posts, and current employee strength.

The directive follows communication from the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department, underscoring the government’s push for transparency and accountability in recruitment across 44 state-run enterprises.

Officials said the move is aimed at streamlining workforce management and ensuring that recruitment practices align with state policy objectives.
