BJD Revamps Media Cell, Names 10 National Spokespersons
Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced a major organisational revamp, appointing ten new national spokespersons and reconstituting its Media and IT Cell.
The newly appointed national spokespersons include Dr Santrupt Misra, Dr Sasmit Patra, Manas Mangaraj, Sulata Deo, Subhashish Khuntia, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, Chiranjib Biswal, Pradip Majhi, Lekhasri Samantasinghar, and Bhrugu Buxipatra.
In a parallel move, the party reorganised its Media and IT Cell, superseding earlier orders.
Key coordinators have been assigned across electronic media, print media, and social media/IT divisions.
- Electronic Media: Dr Arun Kumar Sahoo (Chief Coordinator), Debesh Acharya (Senior Coordinator), Lenin Mohanty (Coordinator).
- Print Media: Sanjay Kumar Das Burma (Chief Coordinator), Goutam Buddha Das (Senior Coordinator), Priyabrata Majhi (Coordinator).
- Social Media & IT: Pratap Jena (Chief Coordinator), Pranab Kumar Balabantaray (Senior Coordinator), Swayam Prakash Mahapatra (Social Media Coordinator), Amresh Patri (IT Coordinator).
Additionally, a comprehensive list of state spokespersons has been announced, featuring senior leaders such as Ranendra Pratap Swain, Prasanna Acharya, Debi Prasad Mishra, Pramila Mallick, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, and Niranjan Pujari, among others.
This restructuring highlights BJD’s focus on strengthening its communication strategy across national, state, and digital platforms, ahead of upcoming political challenges.
