D. Purandeswari Begins First Odisha Tour as BJP State In‑Charge
Bhubaneswar, Odisha: BJP’s newly appointed state in‑charge D. Purandeswari arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday for a two‑day tour, marking her first visit to Odisha in this role.
She was warmly received at the airport by party workers and leaders.
Purandeswari, accompanied by BJP co‑in‑charge Swadesh Singh, is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with the Chief Minister, the state party president, and senior leaders.
She will also interact with in‑charges of 37 organisational districts to review the party’s grassroots structure.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening the BJP’s organisational base in Odisha, strategising ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections, and providing directives to party officials for effective coordination.
