OMFED Hits Record ₹10.23 Cr Profit in 2025–26

Bhubaneswar, May 2026: The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd. (OMFED) has achieved its highest-ever net profit of Rs 10.23 crore in 2025–26, marking a significant milestone in the state’s dairy sector.

With a turnover of Rs 1,036.82 crore, OMFED has strengthened its role in supporting dairy farmers and expanding Odisha’s contribution to India’s White Revolution.

Minister Gokulananda Mallick emphasised OMFED’s commitment to self-reliance, market expansion, and management reforms.

Infrastructure growth has been notable, with new dairy plants at Sonepur and Tangi, alongside 1,061 new milk cooperative societies registered in the past two years.

Managing Director Vijay Amruta Kulange outlined a roadmap to benefit 3.28 lakh dairy farmers by 2030 through hassle-free procurement and self-sufficiency.

Under the Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana, 21 new milk chilling centres have been established, and 160 new milk collection centres are being opened.

OMFED has also diversified its product portfolio, introducing Lassi, UHT Chocolate Shake, A2 Milk, A2 Ghee, Balti Dahi, and Gulab Jamun, which have received strong consumer response.

The review meeting was attended by OMFED President Kishore Chandra Pradhani, officials, and milk union representatives.
