BSE Odisha Extends Recognition Deadline to September 7

Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has extended the deadline for online applications for Fresh, Renewal, and RUFO (Recognition Until Further Order) recognition of schools.

Initially set for August 30, 2026, the deadline has now been pushed to midnight on September 7, 2026.

Applications for the academic session 2026–27 began on August 10, 2026. Schools applying for Fresh or RUFO recognition must submit hard copies to the District Education Officer (DEO) by September 30, 2026, while zonal offices are required to forward them to the BSE Head Office by October 20, 2026.

Recognition is vital for schools to affiliate students for Class IX and X examinations, access government grants, and maintain credibility among parents.

The extension provides institutions additional time to comply with the requirements and ensure smooth processing of applications.
