Jaideep Ahlawat, Ananya Panday Shine at Filmfare OTT Awards 2025

Mumbai witnessed a glittering celebration of India’s digital entertainment industry as the sixth edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards unfolded on December 15, 2025.

The evening honoured outstanding performances and creative brilliance across web series, original films, and short films, with the coveted Black Lady statuette presented to winners.

Black Warrant emerged as the big winner, bagging Best Series and multiple acting honours, while Paatal Lok Season 2 and Khauf also dominated the drama categories.

Jaideep Ahlawat’s powerful performance in Paatal Lok 2 earned him Best Actor (Male – Drama), while Monika Panwar won Best Actor (Female – Drama) for Khauf. Ananya Panday brought freshness to comedy with her win for Call Me Bae.

In the web original film category, Girls Will Be Girls took home Best Film and Best Director for Shuchi Talati. Abhishek Banerjee (Stolen) and Sanya Malhotra (Mrs) were recognised for their lead roles, while Vikrant Massey (Sector 36) and Preeti Panigrahi (Girls Will Be Girls) won critics’ honours.

Breakthrough performances by newcomers like Shubham Vardhan (Stolen) and Arrchita Agarwal (Despatch) highlighted the industry’s evolving talent pool.

Short films also found their spotlight, with Divorce winning People’s Choice, Ayesha taking Best Fiction, and Langur honoured as Best Non-Fiction.

Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ayan Khan were celebrated for their acting in Ayesha and Chashma, respectively.

The 2025 edition reaffirmed Filmfare’s commitment to recognising excellence in India’s booming OTT space, spotlighting both established stars and promising newcomers.
