Teacher Missing During Census Duty in Baripada, Family Files Complaint
Baripada, April 20: A worrying incident has surfaced in Bautishol area of Baripada, where Jyotsnarani Sahu, an assistant teacher at a government UG school in Dhenkinanjia, went missing while on census duty.
According to reports, Jyotsnarani left home around 7 AM on Saturday to carry out census work but did not return.
Her phone has remained switched off since then. Concerned family members lodged a complaint at the Sadar police station, seeking immediate action.
Jyotsnarani, originally from Puri district, has been serving in Baripada for the past eight years.
As of now, the police have not issued any official statement regarding her disappearance.
This case has raised serious concerns about the safety of field staff engaged in census operations across Odisha.
