Swachh Survekshan 2026: Bhubaneswar Citizens’ Voice Key to No.1 Rank
Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, is gearing up for the Swachh Survekshan 2026 with a renewed focus on citizen participation.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has urged residents to actively provide feedback, stressing that public opinion will play a decisive role in securing the city the coveted No.1 rank in cleanliness.
Officials highlighted that while infrastructure and sanitation measures are critical, the survey’s outcome hinges significantly on how citizens perceive and rate the city’s cleanliness.
From residential colonies to marketplaces, every corner of Bhubaneswar reflects the collective responsibility of its people.
The BMC has launched awareness drives, encouraging residents to engage with the survey platforms and voice their experiences.
“Your feedback is not just a formality—it is the foundation for making Bhubaneswar cleaner and smarter,” a BMC spokesperson said.
The corporation has also mobilised Swachh Survekshan.
