Odisha CM Majhi Reviews Flood Relief in Jajpur
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited flood‑affected areas in Jajpur district to assess the situation and oversee relief distribution.
Traveling by boat, he reached Kasapa and Tarapada Panchayats under Dasarathpur block, where he interacted with residents of Ramchandrapur, Balda, and Dhobabil villages.
Accompanied by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, BJP State President Manmohan Samal, and local MPs and MLAs, the Chief Minister assured immediate relief including dry and cooked food, drinking water, and healthcare services.
Majhi emphasised that the safety and well‑being of flood‑hit families remain the government’s top priority.
He also pledged long‑term flood control measures to prevent recurring crises in northern Odisha.
