Odisha Governor Meets PM Modi to Discuss State Development
Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on October 1, 2026, to deliberate on the state’s development roadmap.
The Governor highlighted the progress of Central government schemes in Odisha and briefed the Prime Minister on recent achievements, including Odisha Lok Bhavan receiving the prestigious IGBC Platinum certification for sustainable infrastructure.
The meeting also underscored cooperation in key areas such as agriculture, disaster management, education, industry, and renewable energy.
As a gesture of goodwill, both leaders exchanged mementoes, symbolising their commitment to collaborative governance and growth.
