Fake Currency Racket Suspected: Two Youths Detained in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Two youths from West Bengal were detained near Chillipokhari under Badagada police station limits on suspicion of involvement in a fake currency racket.
Local residents, noticing suspicious behaviour, intercepted the duo and handed them over to police.
Cash recovered from their possession is being verified to confirm whether the notes are counterfeit.
Additional currency was seized, and police have launched an investigation to determine if the suspects are linked to a larger racket operating in the city.
