Subarnapur Police Bust Sex Racket, Rescue Five Women

Subarnapur: In a late‑night raid, police in Subarnapur district dismantled a sex racket operating from a hotel on Binika Road.

Acting on a secret tip‑off, officers stormed the premises during a power outage, ensuring the element of surprise.

Five women were rescued, and seven customers were detained in different rooms.

All were taken to the Sonepur police station for questioning.

Authorities are verifying the women’s backgrounds, including their native places and duration of involvement in the racket.

Police seized objectionable items from the hotel and have launched a detailed investigation to uncover the network behind the operation.
