Odisha Govt to Distribute 2,067 Appointment Letters at 18th Nijukti Mela

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is set to organise the 18th State-Level Nijukti Mela, where appointment letters will be distributed to 2,067 newly selected candidates in the education sector.

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen educational services, particularly in tribal and remote regions of the state.

According to official information, the selected candidates have been recruited through the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).

The appointments include Sevaks, Sevikas, and tribal language teachers who will be deployed across various districts to enhance educational outreach and improve learning outcomes.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will attend the recruitment fair as the chief guest and hand over appointment letters to candidates during the state-level event.

Around 1,000 beneficiaries are expected to receive their appointment letters in Bhubaneswar, while the remaining candidates will receive theirs at district headquarters across Odisha.

The initiative is expected to address manpower shortages in educational institutions, especially in tribal-dominated areas.

The appointment of tribal language teachers is also aimed at promoting mother-tongue-based education and improving classroom accessibility for students from indigenous communities.

Authorities have informed selected candidates about the event through SMS and WhatsApp messages sent to their registered mobile numbers.

The 18th Nijukti Mela reflects the state government’s continued focus on employment generation and strengthening public service delivery through regular recruitment drives.
