Shah Rukh Khan Unveils New ‘King’ Poster, Builds Excitement for Christmas 2026 Release

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has intensified excitement surrounding his upcoming action thriller King by unveiling a striking new poster that has quickly gone viral among fans.

The poster showcases the actor in a rugged and intense avatar, walking through flames with a gun in hand and a rose clenched between his lips.

Sharing the poster on social media, Shah Rukh Khan referenced his iconic 1999 film Baadshah with the caption, “Aaj phir yaad aaya… Qaatil nahi… Aashiq hoon…,” while confirming that King will hit theatres worldwide on December 24, 2026.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the filmmaker behind blockbuster hits including Pathaan, King marks another major collaboration between the director and Shah Rukh Khan.

The project has already emerged as one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2026.

A significant highlight of the film is the first major big-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter, Suhana Khan, whose debut performance in The Archies drew considerable attention.

Their on-screen pairing has generated widespread curiosity among moviegoers.

The star-studded cast reportedly includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Saurabh Shukla, adding further weight to the ambitious production.

Recently, during an AskSRK interaction with fans, Shah Rukh Khan indicated that the team is prioritising the quality of the film over rushing out promotional content, suggesting that audiences may have to wait a little longer for a trailer.

With its powerful visuals, high-profile cast, and Christmas 2026 release date, King is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian entertainment.
