Odisha Startups Shine at Rashtrapati Bhavan Exhibition
Three innovative startups from Odisha were recently showcased at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, under the Atal Innovation Mission.
The event highlighted grassroots entrepreneurship and gave young innovators the opportunity to interact with President Droupadi Murmu.
- GARGI Automated & Robotic Gadget Industries (Shital Zemane) presented assistive technologies for persons with disabilities, including robotic bed‑chairs and exoskeletons.
- Newrup Tech Solutions (Anup Paikaray) introduced CHULIV, a clean cooking solution designed to reduce indoor air pollution and improve fuel efficiency.
- Urban‑Hyphae Bioscience (Adhiraj Mohapatra) showcased mushroom‑based leather alternatives made from agricultural waste, promoting sustainability and circular economy practices.
Officials including Minister Gokulananda Mallik, Commissioner Rashmita Panda, and Startup Odisha CEO Smrutiranjan Pradhan emphasised the state’s supportive ecosystem for youth and women entrepreneurs.
Odisha’s Startup Policy continues to provide incubation, grants, and global platforms for scaling local innovations.
This recognition underscores Odisha’s growing role in India’s innovation landscape, with startups driving solutions in healthcare, sustainability, and clean energy.
