Odisha Fast-Tracks BRAP 2026 Digital Reforms
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2026 and District Business Reforms Action Plan (DBRAP) 2025-26.
Senior officials from 21 departments, IT system integrators, OCAC, and NIC participated in the session.
The meeting emphasised the completion of pending portal development, system integrations, and onboarding of the Entity Locker, a secure repository designed to reduce repetitive document submissions by investors.
Departments were directed to develop public dashboards displaying district-level data on applications, approvals, pendency, statutory timelines, and inspection reports.
Key IT interventions include integration of G2B/G2C services with GO SWIFT and Odisha One, alongside reforms in land/property records, revenue court dashboards, property tax, GST monitoring, building approvals, electricity, employment, health, and education services.
All reforms are targeted for completion by 31 August 2026, with a follow-up review scheduled for 25 August 2026.
The initiative aims to strengthen Odisha’s business regulatory environment through technology-led reforms, ensuring transparency, simplified service delivery, and faster investor-government interactions.
