The Higher Education Department of Odisha has announced the schedule for Phase-II admissions into +2 colleges across the state.
The application process will begin on August 24 and continue until August 31 through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.
Students who passed the HSC exam under the Odisha Board or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Those who applied in Phase-I but were not selected can reapply without paying the Common Application Form (CAF) fee, while fresh applicants must pay the prescribed fee.
The first selection list will be published on September 3, with reporting scheduled between September 7–10. Institutions can rectify admission data until September 11.
Choice locking will be available from September 12–16, followed by spot selection lists on September 21.
Spot admissions will be conducted between September 22–25, and handwritten applications for vacant seats will be accepted on September 26.
Admissions will be strictly merit-based, with no additional reservation or weightage in Phase-II.
The first selection will be based on vacancies as of August 31, while spot allotments will depend on vacancies as of September 16.
In Phase-I, 4,61,325 students applied, with 4,29,219 selected—a 93% success rate.
The remaining 32,106 students now have another opportunity to secure admission in Phase-II.
Officials have advised students to carefully fill the CAF to avoid rejection due to errors.
