Nitin Nabin’s Odisha Visit: BJP National President’s First Tour Highlights Strategy and Culture

Bhubaneswar, May 16: BJP National President Nitin Nabin will embark on his maiden two‑day visit to Odisha starting May 17, marking a significant moment in the party’s organisational roadmap for the state.

Arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport on a regular passenger flight, Nabin’s travel choice reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for austerity amid the global oil crisis.

He will be received by State BJP President Manmohan Samal, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and senior leaders.

On May 18, Nabin will chair the State Core Committee meeting at the party office, inaugurate the Pandit Deendayal Training Mahabhiyan‑2026 camp at AIPHC University near IIT Jatni, and later visit Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath and Mahaprasad.

His itinerary concludes with a joint meeting of office‑bearers, morcha presidents, and the ministerial council in Bhubaneswar before returning to Delhi.

Political observers view the visit as a blend of organisational strengthening and cultural outreach, signalling the BJP’s renewed focus on Odisha ahead of key political developments.
