Naveen Patnaik Visits Delhi to Meet Ailing Brother After Heart Surgery

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Former Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik has travelled to New Delhi to meet his elder brother, Prem Patnaik, who recently underwent major heart surgery.

Prem Patnaik was admitted to a Delhi hospital earlier this week and underwent surgery on Tuesday.

Senior BJD leader Debi Mishra clarified that Naveen’s visit is purely personal, aimed at spending time with his recovering brother, and not connected to political matters.

Before his departure, Naveen Patnaik was accompanied to the airport by several senior BJD leaders, including Pranab Prakash Das, Ashok Panda, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Sushant Rout, Sanjay Das Burma, Saluka Pradhan, and Tukuni Sahu.

Naveen is expected to remain in Delhi for a few days with his family while his brother recuperates.
