Additional DCP Injured in Bhubaneswar Ama Bus Mishap

Bhubaneswar: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Krushna Chandra Sethi was injured on Friday morning after being hit by an Ama Bus while cycling near the Bhubaneswar Club.

Eyewitnesses said the bus struck him from behind, causing him to fall on the road.

Police personnel rushed to the spot and immediately shifted him to a nearby hospital, where doctors are monitoring his condition. Preliminary investigation suggests reckless driving may have caused the accident.

The bus driver has been detained for questioning, and CCTV footage is being reviewed.
