Adapa Darshan 2026: Holy Trinity Seated at Gundicha Temple
Puri, July 19: The sacred Adapa Darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra commenced today at Gundicha Temple, marking a pivotal phase of Rath Yatra 2026.
After their two‑day halt on the Grand Road, the Holy Trinity entered the Adapa Mandap in a devotional procession filled with chants, conch shells, and traditional music.
During their stay at Gundicha Temple, devotees will receive the special Adapa Abadha Mahaprasad until the Bahuda Yatra.
The ritual holds immense spiritual significance, with prayers at the Adapa Mandap believed to bring blessings and prosperity.
Authorities have strengthened crowd management measures, anticipating lakhs of devotees. Security, traffic control, and queue systems have been reinforced to ensure smooth darshan.
The deities will remain at Gundicha Temple until their return journey during Bahuda Yatra.
