Sudarsan Pattnaik’s Sand Art Shines on Sabitri Brata
Puri, Odisha: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik marked the auspicious occasion of Sabitri Brata with a stunning sand sculpture at Puri beach.
The artwork depicted Sabitri and Satyavan beneath a sacred tree, symbolising devotion, longevity, and prosperity.
Thousands of married women across Odisha observed the festival, fasting and praying for their husbands’ well‑being. Pattnaik shared his creation on social media, extending wishes for happiness and prosperity to families.
His tribute not only celebrated the cultural essence of Sabitri Brata but also showcased Odisha’s rich heritage through art.
