Rashmirekha Swain Named Registrar of MLU Cuttack
Cuttack, June 7: Senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer Rashmirekha Swain has been appointed as the new Registrar of Madhusudan Law University (MLU), Cuttack.
A notification issued by the state government confirmed that Swain, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Board of Revenue, will take charge on foreign service terms for three years or until further orders.
The Revenue & Disaster Management Department has directed the Board of Revenue to relieve her from her present assignment promptly, ensuring a smooth transition.
Swain, known for her administrative acumen and experience in governance, is expected to bring renewed momentum to the university’s academic and administrative functioning.
Her appointment is seen as a step toward strengthening leadership at one of Odisha’s premier law institutions.
