Bhubaneswar, June 8: A shocking incident has come to light in the Dhauli area of Bhubaneswar, where a woman was allegedly raped by her male friend inside a hotel.

According to police sources, the victim had checked into the hotel with her acquaintance, who later assaulted her.

The survivor lodged a complaint, following which the Dhauli police registered a case and initiated an investigation.

The accused has reportedly fled the scene, and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend him.
