BJD Calls Key Meeting on June 10 Ahead of Panchayat Polls

Bhubaneswar, June 8: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced a crucial organisational meeting on June 10 at 4 PM at Sankha Bhawan, its state headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

Party president Naveen Patnaik has directed all leaders who contested the recent general elections as BJD candidates to attend without fail.

The meeting will review the party’s performance in the general elections and discuss key organisational matters, including the formation of committees at block and municipal levels.

Leaders will also deliberate on the implementation of the SIR programme and other grassroots initiatives.

With Panchayat Elections approaching, the gathering is seen as a major exercise to strengthen the party’s base and prepare for upcoming challenges.

Leaders will have the opportunity to interact directly with the party chief, share feedback, and highlight ground‑level issues.

This meeting is expected to set the tone for BJD’s organisational strategy ahead of the polls, reinforcing its presence across Odisha’s rural and urban landscapes.
