President Droupadi Murmu Concludes Odisha Visit, Returns to New Delhi
President Droupadi Murmu wrapped up her three‑day visit to Odisha with a special train journey from Brahmapur to Bhubaneswar on August 5, 2026.
From Bhubaneswar, she is scheduled to fly back to New Delhi.
During her stay, the President offered prayers at the Dhavaleswar Temple near the Army Air Defence College in Brahmapur and spent the night at the college’s Gopalpur campus.
She also travelled by road to Taptapani, about 80 km away, and was warmly received by locals despite heavy rains.
Her Odisha tour highlighted cultural and spiritual engagements while reinforcing her connection with the people of the state.
