Odisha Governor Seeks Blessings at Puri Srimandir
Puri, June 13: Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, accompanied by his wife Dr Jayashree Kambhampati, visited the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri today.
The couple was warmly received by SJTA Chief Administrator Arabind Kumar Padhee and Puri District Collector Dibyajyoti Parida.
The Governor and his wife offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, seeking blessings for peace, prosperity, and the well‑being of Odisha.
They also toured different sections of the temple complex and were briefed on administrative measures, management initiatives, and facilities for devotees.
The visit highlights the deep cultural and spiritual connection between Odisha’s constitutional authority and its most revered shrine.
Later, the Governor also reviewed redevelopment plans for Puri Railway Station, which is scheduled for completion ahead of Rath Yatra 2027.
