Odisha Extends Bidesh Sikhyabruti Scholarship Deadline to September 30, 2026
The Odisha government has announced an extension of the application deadline for the Bidesh Sikhyabruti Scheme, giving eligible students more time to apply.
Originally set to close on September 19, the deadline has now been extended to September 30, 2026.
The scheme provides scholarships to SC and ST students aspiring to pursue postgraduate or PhD programs at the top 200 QS‑ranked foreign universities.
Applications must be submitted online through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (scholarship.odisha.gov.in).
Officials have urged applicants to carefully review the scheme guidelines available on the Higher Education Department’s website before applying.
The initiative aims to support meritorious students in accessing global education opportunities and enhancing academic excellence.
