Odisha BJP to Celebrate PM Modi’s Birthday with Month‑Long Service Programmes
The Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a month‑long celebration to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, beginning on September 17 and continuing until October 17.
The programme will commence with a mega blood donation camp on Modi’s birthday.
Over the following weeks, the party will organise service‑oriented activities across schools, colleges, Anganwadi centres, and public spaces.
These will include street plays (Namo Seva Gatha), Sankalp Yatras, drawing and speech competitions, and cultural programmes highlighting government welfare initiatives.
On the evening of September 17, lamps will be lit at beneficiaries’ homes across Odisha, symbolising gratitude and celebration.
State BJP President Manmohan Samal emphasised that the initiative aims to spread awareness of 25 years of Modi’s governance and 25 key services delivered to the grassroots.
The campaign aligns with the national leadership’s call to mark the Prime Minister’s birthday through service and public engagement.
