Dy CM Warns Jajpur Officials: No Negligence in Flood Relief
Jajpur: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida chaired a high‑level review meeting at the Jajpur Collector’s Office to assess the ongoing flood situation in the district.
Stressing accountability and urgency, she directed officials to ensure that every affected family receives timely assistance without negligence.
The meeting was attended by Badachana MLA Amar Nayak, Jajpur MLA Sujata Sahu, District Collector Ambar Kumar Kar, and senior district officials.
Parida emphasised that relief operations must be carried out with precision and compassion, underscoring the government’s commitment to safeguarding vulnerable communities during the crisis.
She reiterated that lapses in relief distribution would not be tolerated and urged the administration to maintain transparency and efficiency in delivering essential support.
