DRDO Successfully Conducts Missile Test at Chandipur in Balasore
Balasore, June 10: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a missile test at the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, on Tuesday afternoon.
The launch took place at 3:50 PM from Launch Pad‑3, marking another milestone in India’s defence preparedness.
Ahead of the test, the Balasore district administration evacuated 11,442 residents within a 3.5 km radius of the site, providing temporary shelters and essential facilities.
Security forces maintained strict vigilance to ensure smooth execution.
DRDO scientists closely monitored the launch, gathering crucial data on performance and precision.
