CJP Protest Ends: Govt Yields to Student Demands

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has officially withdrawn its protest following assurances from Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Jitendra Singh that all student demands will be met.

The government pledged to provide copies of FIRs to students, ensure no retaliatory action against protesters, and extend compensation for those injured during the agitation.

The breakthrough came after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned, a key demand of the protesters.

The meeting concluded with a symbolic handshake between Union leaders and CJP representatives Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, marking the end of weeks of unrest.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke welcomed the resolution but hinted at “bigger targets ahead,” suggesting the movement may continue to shape national debates on education and accountability.
