Bhubaneswar Film Festival 2026 Schedule Unveiled, Odisha Set for Cinematic Celebration

The much-awaited 3rd Bhubaneswar Film Festival will be held from June 25–28, 2026, at Jaydev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, promising four days of cinematic brilliance.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi officially unveiled the schedule at Lok Seva Bhawan, highlighting the festival’s growing role in showcasing Odisha’s creative talent.

The festival will feature screenings from 10 AM to 10 PM daily, with films in Odia, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, and Desia languages.

Audiences can expect a rich mix of national and international award-winning films, alongside cultural discussions and interactive sessions.

Festival Director Sanjay Pattnaik, joined by Co-Directors Sukant Rath and Ashok Palit, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Department of Odia Language, Literature & Culture for their support.

Pattnaik described the event as a milestone for Odia cinema, noting that from 2027 onwards, the festival will expand into a larger platform to attract global participation.

With filmmakers, cinephiles, and celebrities expected from across India and abroad, the Bhubaneswar Film Festival is poised to become a cultural landmark, blending Odisha’s traditions with modern cinematic storytelling.
