Ambulance Blaze in Cuttack: Child Patient Escapes Unhurt

Cuttack: Panic struck Khananagar Square late Sunday night when an ambulance ferrying a child patient from Badachana in Jajpur district to Shishu Bhavan suddenly caught fire.

Quick action by the ambulance staff ensured the safe evacuation of the patient and crew before flames engulfed the vehicle.

Firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to douse the blaze, but the ambulance was completely gutted.

Authorities suspect an electrical short circuit as the cause.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and locals praised the swift response that averted a tragedy.
