The child, who had travelled with her grandparents from Kendrapara, was supposed to continue on to Angul but disappeared suddenly near the station’s back gate.
CCTV footage captured a suspicious man walking away with the girl, intensifying concerns.
The family lodged a complaint at Chauliaganj police station, and police have launched an investigation.
Despite two days of searching, the child remains untraceable.
Authorities have released the suspect’s photo and announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to his identification or capture.
