Sundaragada Gang Busted: Five Arrested, Six Stolen Bikes Seized in Odisha Police Crackdown

Lephripoda police in Sundaragada, acting under the directives of the Superintendent of Police, successfully dismantled an inter-district criminal gang operating across Sundaragada and Sambalpur.

Five individuals, including one Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL), were arrested during the operation.

Authorities recovered six stolen motorcycles along with a large cache of stolen property.

The seized items included 10 LPG cylinders, smaller gas cylinders with stoves, 500 kg of rice, 82 steel and brass utensils, an inverter battery, computer equipment, fans, pressure cookers, sports gear, and other household goods.

Investigations revealed that the gang primarily targeted schools, Anganwadi centres, and public institutions, stealing motorcycles and essential supplies.

Police officials assured strict action against organised crime networks, bringing relief to residents across the affected districts.
