Special OJEE 2026 Announced: Applications Open June 16
Bhubaneswar, June 13: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has announced the conduct of Special OJEE 2026 to fill vacant seats across professional courses for the academic session 2026–27.
The computer-based test will be held from July 13 to 15, 2026, with the online application window open from June 16 to June 28, 2026 (11:00 PM).
Candidates can apply through the official portals www.ojee.nic.in and www.odishajee.com.
The Special OJEE will cover admissions to B.Tech (Lateral Entry – Diploma & B.Sc.), B.Pharm, Basic B.Sc. Nursing, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. Computer Science.
For B.Tech aspirants, the syllabus will remain the same as JEE Main 2026, while other courses will follow the standard OJEE 2026 syllabus.
Importantly, students who have already qualified JEE Main 2026 (for B.Tech) or secured ranks in OJEE 2026 (for other courses) are exempted from appearing.
Non-Odisha candidates are eligible but restricted to private institutions, as government college seats remain reserved under state policy.
Officials clarified that ranks from Special OJEE 2026 will be used only for vacant seat admissions after the first round of counselling.
The move aims to provide deserving students with another opportunity while ensuring institutions maximise seat utilisation.
