SJTA Files FIR Against Fake VIP Darshan Ads at Puri Temple

Puri, Odisha: The Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA) has lodged a police complaint against a misleading advertisement that falsely promoted paid VIP darshan at the Puri Jagannath Temple.

The FIR, filed on July 19, highlights that no such facility exists or is authorised by the temple.

The fraudulent advertisement, circulated by an entity named eoOdisha under the banner “MyEO Jagannath Dham Concierge Service,” claimed to offer special VIP darshan privileges.

SJTA clarified that this was an attempt to deceive devotees and warned the public against falling prey to such schemes.

Temple authorities emphasised that darshan arrangements remain free and accessible to all devotees, and any claims of paid VIP access are baseless.

Police have registered a case and initiated action against those responsible for the misleading promotion.
