Satyabrata Ray Named New OPSC Secretary in Major Bureaucratic Shake‑Up

Cuttack, June 8: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced key changes to its leadership.

• Satyabrata Ray (OAS‑SS) has been promoted from Additional Secretary to Secretary of OPSC, taking charge of the commission’s overall administration.
• Sanjibeeta Ray (OAS‑SAG) has been elevated from Assistant Controller of Examinations to Additional Secretary‑cum‑Controller of Examinations, strengthening the commission’s examination management wing.

The notification was issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, signed by Special Secretary Ghasiram Murmu, under the directive of the Governor.

These changes are aimed at enhancing efficiency and reinforcing the commission’s role as Odisha’s premier recruitment body.
