Odisha Woos UAE Investors: CM Majhi’s High-Level Business Push on Day 1

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi began his UAE outreach with a series of high-level business meetings in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, aiming to position the state as a global investment destination.

On Day 1, Majhi led discussions with the International Holding Company (IHC) and its subsidiaries, exploring opportunities in diverse sectors.

He also engaged with the Indian Business and Professional Group (IBPG), strengthening India-UAE business ties.

A key highlight was his meeting with Hazeem Sultan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Borouge, where petrochemical investment prospects were discussed.

In Dubai, the delegation inaugurated a display of One District One Product (ODOP) items, showcasing Odisha’s handicrafts and traditional products to international buyers.

The Chief Minister also met the Consul General of India in Dubai to deepen institutional and community linkages.

The outreach reflects Odisha’s twin strategy: attracting industrial investment while promoting local entrepreneurship on the global stage.
