Odisha Govt Transfers Two IAS Officers in Key Administrative Roles

In a routine reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred two IAS officers to strengthen governance in critical departments.

Dr Poma Tudu (IAS, 2012 batch), who was serving as Managing Director of Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL), Commissioner of Food Safety, and MD of TDCCOL, has now been appointed as Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backwards Classes Welfare Department. She will continue to hold additional charges of Commissioner, Food Safety, and MD, TDCCOL.

Smita Pani (IAS, 2020 batch), previously posted in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of OSMCL.

These transfers are expected to enhance efficiency in tribal and scheduled caste welfare, minority development, food safety, and medical supply management across the state.
