Odisha Govt Transfers Three Senior OAS Officers in Major Reshuffle
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has issued transfer orders for three senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, directing their controlling authorities to relieve them within two days.
The notification states that if the officers are not relieved by June 19, 2026, they will be deemed centrally relieved.
- Subodh Ch. Acharya, Chief General Manager, OSDMA (Bhubaneswar), has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate, Jharsuguda.
- Basanta Kumar Sethi, Joint Secretary, Board of Revenue (Cuttack), has been posted as Regional Manager, Regional Industrial Centre, Berhampur.
- Sarat Majhi, Additional Sub-Collector, Nabarangpur, has been transferred to Koraput in the same capacity.
The reshuffle is part of routine administrative changes aimed at strengthening governance and ensuring efficient service delivery across districts.
