Odisha Govt Confirms No Fuel Shortage, Urges Citizens to Avoid Panic Buying

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg has assured the public that there is no fuel crisis in the state, with adequate supplies of petrol, diesel, LPG, and urea available across all districts.

She urged citizens not to crowd fuel stations unnecessarily, warning that panic buying could create artificial shortages.

District collectors have been instructed to monitor the situation closely and take strict action against hoarding or illegal stockpiling.

The government is coordinating with oil companies to ensure uninterrupted distribution, reinforcing that supplies remain stable.

Authorities emphasised that spreading rumours or engaging in hoarding will invite immediate consequences.
