Odisha Gears Up for President & PM’s Rairangpur Visit

Bhubaneswar/Rairangpur, June 13: Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to review preparations for President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj district, scheduled for June 19–20.

The visit will mark two years of the BJP government in Odisha and include inauguration of completed projects and foundation stone laying for new initiatives.

A major public programme is planned at Dandabose, where both leaders will address the gathering alongside Governor Raghubar Das and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Departments were directed to ensure readiness in security, protocol, transportation, helipad and airport facilities, accommodation, medical services, fire safety, uninterrupted power and water supply, road repairs, sanitation, telecom, and media coordination.

Senior officials from police, fire services, and district administration joined the review, with Garg stressing close coordination, regular monitoring, and timely completion of arrangements.
