Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has called upon the people of Odisha to participate in a month‑long Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan beginning September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.

The campaign, designed to celebrate Modi’s 50 years of public service and 25 years of leadership, will feature initiatives such as Sewa Jyoti Yatra, Namo Sewa Gatha, Swapna Bharat, Pariwartan Ki Kahani, and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

Tree plantation drives and blood donation camps will also be organized across the state.

Majhi urged every household to light an “Ashirwad Ka Diya” at homes, temples, and public places on September 17 as a symbolic gesture of blessings for the Prime Minister.

Citizens, especially beneficiaries of welfare schemes, are encouraged to share photos, videos, and messages of gratitude on social media.

The Chief Minister emphasized that this collective participation will strengthen Modi’s resolve and accelerate India’s journey toward Viksit Bharat.
