Odisha CM Majhi, Singapore Envoy Explore New Avenues of Cooperation
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a productive meeting with Singapore’s High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, in Bhubaneswar.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation in key sectors including urban development, green energy, port infrastructure, technology, innovation, and skill development.
CM Majhi emphasised that these collaborations align with Odisha’s long‑term vision of Samruddha Odisha 2036 and India’s national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
He also highlighted the importance of early implementation of MoUs signed during Singapore President Dr Tharman Shanmugaratnam’s recent visit to Odisha.
Both sides agreed to establish a structured engagement mechanism to attract investments and deepen institutional ties, marking a significant step toward enhanced bilateral cooperation.
