Odisha CM Majhi Clears Pending Allowances with One‑Time Release
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced the release of three months’ allowance in a single instalment to clear delays caused by technical updates from the Centre.
The announcement coincided with the celebration of two years of BJP governance in Odisha, during which 121 schemes have been rolled out under the “double‑engine” model.
Majhi emphasised that the government is prioritising electricity, drinking water, and road connectivity to villages—areas he claimed were neglected under the previous BJD regime.
He highlighted initiatives such as Lakshpati Didi to empower women and strengthen self‑help groups, while also assuring farmers of livelihood security and renewed confidence.
Framing the allowance release as part of a broader vision for a prosperous Odisha, Majhi underscored transparency, efficiency, and inclusive development as the hallmarks of his administration.
