Odisha CM Hails Gulveer Singh & Harjinder Kaur’s CWG Silver Wins

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated athletes Gulveer Singh and Harjinder Kaur for their remarkable performances at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

Gulveer Singh clinched a silver medal in the Men’s 10,000m race, while Harjinder Kaur secured silver in the Women’s 69kg weightlifting category.

The Chief Minister lauded their determination, endurance, and pursuit of excellence, noting that their victories have brought immense pride to the nation.

He emphasised that India celebrates their achievements with joy and looks forward to more success from Team India.
