Odisha CM Felicitates OCS Topper Bubun Sahoo
Bhubaneswar, May 28: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi felicitated Bubun Sahoo, the topper of the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination 2024, at Lok Seva Bhawan today.
Sahoo, a native of Tolankapada village in Keonjhar district, had earlier qualified for the Odisha Police Service and is currently undergoing training as a Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy.
Congratulating him, the Chief Minister highlighted that public service is the essence of administration.
He urged Sahoo to dedicate his efforts to the welfare of children, women, and marginalised communities, while growing into both an efficient administrator and a compassionate human being.
Majhi also praised Sahoo’s parents, Bhagaban (a farmer) and Kunjalata (a homemaker), for their role in his success.
He noted that their son’s achievement has brought pride to Odisha and will inspire countless aspirants across the state.
