Nuakhai 2026: CM Mohan Charan Majhi Extends Greetings to Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai, western Odisha’s most significant agrarian festival.
Beginning his message with “Jai Jagannath, Jai Maa Samalei” and “Nuakhai Juhar,” Majhi described Nuakhai as a celebration deeply rooted in Odisha’s soil, culture, and traditions.
He emphasised the festival’s spirit of unity, urging citizens to set aside differences, bitterness, and ego, while upholding respect for elders and affection for younger generations.
Majhi highlighted that these values strengthen family bonds and social harmony.
Calling upon students, youths, workers, farmers, and jawans, the Chief Minister encouraged collective efforts toward building a prosperous Odisha by 2036 and contributing to a developed India by 2047.
Concluding his message, Majhi prayed to Maa Samalei for happiness, peace, prosperity, and success for all, reiterating his Nuakhai greetings.
